Bondage & BDSM FAQ's

Because bondage is sexy! There's lots of fun ways to play with handcuffs and hot positions for bondage.
-When you're the 'top' (one doing the restraining) you're totally in charge of your partner’s pleasure, whilst enjoying vision them splayed out in front of you…
- When you’re the 'bottom' (one being cuffed/tied up) you get to surrender to one-way attention. In bondage, you are totally free to enjoy your own pleasure without any pressure to ‘bat back’.

BDSM stands for 'Bondage, Domination, Sadomasochism and Masochism'. It's an umbrella term for a whole heap of delicious power-play activities! There's lots of misconceptions about BDSM but actually it can involve as much, or as little BDSM as YOU like, ranging from light bondage to a full-on dungeon scene!

The most important thing is to play with bondage & BDSM safely. Trust your instincts (listen to your gut rather than your genitals!). You may feel super turned on, but if something feels unsafe, it probably is. Communicate and negotiate with your play partner ahead of the session. This lets you both know what will and - more importantly - what won't happen.

Introducing bondage to your bedroom or if you'd like your partner to be more sexually dominant, it's best to bring up the subject with patience. Whipping out a pair of restraint Ccuffs cold, is not recommended! Consent is KEY. Criticism is a major turn-off. Whisper fantasies and see if they are recieved with bated breath...

How to introduce bondage into your bedroom

Bondage is the act of consensually tying, binding or restraining a partner for erotic, aesthetic, or sensory stimulation.

Whatever the stimulation, the first rule of boandage is to never ( NEVER!) allow anyone to tie you up that you don't 100% trust. By definition, bondage puts you in a very vulnerable position - it's not something to try with a fling or one night stand.

When it comes to sexual excitement, the element of surprise can often work wonders, but this isn’t always the case when it comes to bondage.

Have an open discussion where you talk through your desires with your partner.

Share what it is about bondage that excites you, and how you imagine the two of you enjoy it together.

Ask how they would feel about trying out bondage with you...
