Natracare Organic tampons are made from only certified organic 100% cotton and are the only fully certified organic cotton tampons available in the world today.

They were developed as a direct response to health and environmental concerns about dioxin pollution caused by chlorine bleaching, the extensive use of pesticide spraying on conventionally grown cotton, and the use of rayon and other synthetics in tampons.

Many women are unaware that rayon and rayon-cotton blends are widely used in the manufacture of tampons. Rayon is commonly chlorine-bleached, and is a highly absorbent fibre. Dioxin, a toxic carcinogen, is a by-product of all chlorine bleaching methods.

So, while you might not be able to choose whether or not you have periods, you can choose health, happiness and body-friendly hygiene.

Sex Tip

We can't prove it but all Team Sh! feel that their period pains are lessened whilst using Naturcare. Could it be that the obviously dodgy bleach of standard tampons inflame our wombs and exacerbate our cramps?

I'm on the Pill, so my periods aren't much of anything at the moment, but these are amazing. Going from Tampax to these is just common sense, I honestly don't feel these dry me out as much as they did and they feel very comfortable. Plus the knowledge they're fully biodegradable definitely makes a difference to my use of disposable sanitary products - I'm still plucking up the courage to use my Mooncup!

MY OH recently converted over to these after trying them, she says they're the comfiest and gentlest tampons she's ever used. While she does prefer the mooncup, sometimes when she's out and about she switches to tampons and these have become her first choice. Like she says why would she want to put anything non organic into her body? Can't argue with that!
