She Comes First
Are you sexually cliterate? Dubbed 'The thinking man's guide to pleasuring a woman... ' this is an entire book written strictly for the pleasure of a woman by a man. Hallelujah!
Men have always valiantly struggled to elicit the female orgasm, but rarely will a man ask: "What do I do?" Now the answer can be right on the tip of his tongue.
For the sexually literate man the mystery of female satisfaction is solved, and the tongue is mightier than the sword. Oral sex has long been considered an optional aspect of foreplay when its real role is as core play, the best, tried and tested, guaranteed way for bringing a woman through the entire process of sexual response.
'She Comes First' is an encyclopedia of female pleasure, with dozens of techniques for satisfying your female partner and illustrated step-by-step instructions that will ensue success.
"A practical, friendly, well-written guide for men who want to give better orgasms to women and the women who will be lining up to love them". - Cindy Chupack. Executive Producer of Sex in the City.

Having enjoyed the benefits this book over the last few years I thought it was about time that my husband now gave his perspective on She Comes First-
I have to start this review by saying when my partner first introduced me to this book I was convinced (in all my stupidity) that it was good that the book existed for OTHER people, but that I knew what I was doing. The sad part is I know there are many millions more men like I was, who might think they know what theyre doing and just how to please a woman but sadly so many of us live in ignorance. All I can say is I am very thankful that she opened my eyes, this book explains in the greatest of detail what is a mystery to so many men, the female orgasm.
The book is authored by Ian Kerner Ph D. He explains how he came to write the book, having suffered with premature ejaculation for most of his life, he set about finding other ways of pleasing women. It is refreshing as this book is entirely focused on female pleasure through cunnilingus and not about intercourse.
In this book the author breaks everything down to its most basic level. He talks about the stigma surrounding cunnilingus. He goes on to dispel many misconceptions about the female orgasm, the g-spot and just where exactly the clitoris is located and how it works. His writing style is enjoyable and he draws on many surveys as well as other professionals in the field of sex and sexual well being to illustrate and underline is point.
The book is broken down into three sections which are sub divided into a total of forty eight chapters.
*In the first section he talks about the theory side of things as well as the public attitude to the female orgasm while also addressing some of the wider gender issues. He talks about the origins of the confusion surrounding the female anatomy. He goes on to break down all the elements of the female genitalia with clear diagrams and talks about their functions as well as how they interconnect. Rather than just focusing on the clitoris he encourages the reader to make full use of every single part of the anatomy possible to stimulate the woman and maximize her pleasure.
*In the second section he talks all about the physical side of cunnilingus, everything from the first kiss right to the moment of climax and even beyond that. Every part of a great session is broken down into chapters which are short but very comprehensive. He covers the various stages of female arousal from arousal to stimulation, pre-orgasm and climax (as well as everything in between), the physical changes that occur during these stages, the signs to look for as one performing the act. The advice in this section is invaluable. He breaks the entire process down and makes it easy to understand.
*The third and final section, which is a little shorter, he talks about bringing the emotional and physical side of things together and also explains various routines that one can engage in. It is a summary, a refresher on the entire book, touching on all the important points covered previously.
It is an extremely well written book which draws on the authors personal experience as well as a host of other sources. I cant imagine there is a more comprehensive book out there on the subject. The author covers every point you can imagine from attitudes to scent, from caressing to anal play, kisses to climax. Simply put a superb book and I highly recommend it to anyone who seriously wishes to truly please a woman.

"A highly recommended read for couples" by llellsee

I first got this book around three and a half years ago. Having had pleasant experiences with someone who had taken the time to educate them self on the subject matter and seeing just how effective a little knowledge could be, I decided to look into picking up a similar book. Knowing that men can be easily offended I figured it was worth having a good book on the subject on hand so I could casually loan it out if necessary.
After a little searching for books on the subject She Comes First came the most highly recommended and for good reason. After waiting patiently for the book to arrive I was glad when it finally came. The book itself has a wonderful cover, it very elegantly represents the subject matter without being vulgar or pornographic.
Written by a man called Ian Kerner, He explains that after years of suffering with feelings of sexual inadequacy caused by premature ejaculation, he set about finding other more fulfilling ways to please a woman. It is clear to me that his search was not in vain.
He clearly knows the subject matter inside and out, literally! And explains in simple, but extremely accurate terms, the complete stages and sexual responses that lead a woman to orgasm.
Additionally he talks a bit about the history of female sexuality. He tells the reader about the origin of some of the confusion and myths surrounding female anatomy and orgasms. After giving it to my current partner to read, both he and I agree that his technique improved greatly.
My one and only issue with the book really is that the author gears the entire thing towards orgasm, and says a number of times that you shouldnt start a session of cunnilingus without making her come. While we all love orgasms, sometimes I just want a nice bit of play without the pressure of orgasm hanging over the whole situation.
Other then this smallest of problems, I think it is over all very well written and a great source of information for anyone who wants to know just how to please a woman.
After three years of owning this book it continues to do both myself and my partner great favours. A re-read of certain chapters from time to time always helps to remind my partner of some of the golden rules when it comes to building a woman's arousal. This really is a great book to get out every once in a while to advise on new techniques or just to spice things up.
With several reads of this over the years, I still find it very orgasm focused and I would personally disagree that a woman needs to have an orgasm every time, but one thing that I can't disagree with is that these tips work! A highly recommended read for couples.
Well written, Informative, with clearly laid out techniques.
Maybe a little too orgasm focused at times.
A must read, and not just for beginners. Even the more advanced in the subject will find they still learn a trick or two. (Posted on 29/08/2012)

While a lot of sex guides can be very lightweight and a bit samey, She Comes First is a mile away from all of those and a very educational read, expect to finish reading this and know more than most about the vagina! Definitely kept us occupied for a long time and there's lots of of tip that have improved my technique no end, a must buy for anyone! (Posted on 17/07/2012)
"This book should be compulsory reading for all men - can we get it added to the National Curriculum?" by JWILL

It provides a clear and fascinating guide to female anatomy (who knew the clitoris has 18 parts?!). Just as importantly, it stresses the importance and fun of oral sex without being too preachy or too academic. Buy this book, read and learn and practice a lot! (Posted on 05/07/2011)

A really interesting read from a male perspective.
Lots of useful information with LOTS of emphasis on the wonders of the clit, every man should own a copy. (Posted on 06/07/2009)
I really, really recommend this book for anyone interested in the finer points of the female anatomy. by Twinkle

I was admittedly very dubious as it's written by a man, but I was soo wrong. Did you know, for example, that the clit consists of no less than 18 parts?? I didn't - and I've got one!
The book has good drawings and diagrams, gives you hints and tips and is well-paced. I passed my copy on to a few friends, all of whom came back saying how much they enjoyed reading it. It teaches you about the clit and the g-spot, and gives excellent examples of oral sex techniques, both for beginners and devoted muff-divers. It was a real eye-opener. I thoroughly recommend it for both men and women. (Posted on 02/09/2008)

Sex Tip For She Comes First
A sneak peek between the covers:
"Ushering a woman into orgasm is both exhilerating and liberating. When she comes first, anxiety and pressure are dispensed with; you are emboldened, empowered to pursue with gusto the gratification that awaits you - a climax that will be heightened all the more for having been postponed."
