Should i use a dental dam with female lover?
Full Question Question for y'all I am interested in having oral sex with a female acquaintance and was told that you could get these things that are like a protective layer to be placed over the clitoris which reduces the chance of an STD. They are packaged a bit like a condom but are not a diaphram as they are not inserted. What are these things called and does Sh! sell them? The Sh! Girlz answer... They are called "dental dams" "oral shields" or simply "dams" and yes we do stock them - either in yummy versions:
Dental Dams Flavourered
or Non-Latex dental dam for those sensitive to latex.
Some women who have sex with women use dams, some dont - it's a safer sex issue that only you can decide for yourself. Risk of HIV transmission through oral sex is low, ( increased if giver has cuts/ sores in her mouth, or receiver has sores on her genitals or on her period.) Other STD's, such as Herpes are more easily passed during oral sex between women.
Whether you decide to use a dam, or not, we wish ypu happy licking and we hope your "aquiantance" enjoys your attentions enuff to become your special friend!!!
luv the Sh! Girlz
