Choosing the Right Sex Lubricant for You

* WHAT KIND OF SEX IS YOUR LUBE FOR?
The best lube for intercourse/vaginal sex (including sex toys), is a water-based lube such as our own
Lush Lube. Most lubricant we stock is water-based as it's easiest to wash from your body.
Long sex sessions and anal sex play call for a long-lasting lubricant; either asilicone lubricant, such as
ID Millenium or a thicker waterbased lubricant, like
Maximus.
Silicone lubricant is condom-safe, but shouldn't be used with silicone dildos or
silicone vibrators as the 2 silicones can react badly together.
Lubricant is the cornerstone of safer sex; it's best to use lube with condoms to prevent them splitting. Every lubricant we carry is latex-safe so whichever lubricant you choose, will also be the best lube for condoms!
* HOW "NATURAL" SHOULD YOUR LUBE BE? :
Some lubricant ingredients can irritate some women, whilst others can use any lube without a care, or itch, in the world. If you're sensitive, choose a natural lubricant like
Probe or an organic lube like
Sliquid Organic Lube
If like lots of women, you're prone to thrush, try a glycerin-free lubricant such as
Liquid Silk
WHAT SHOULD YOUR LUBE FEEL LIKE?:
Probe Lube is clear, stringy & pretty similar to women's natural juices!
Maximus is thick & gel-like. As they start to dry water-based lubricant can become sticky. To restore slipperiness add water, rather than more lube, - use saliva or spray from plant mister!
For a non-sticky lubricant, choose
Lush or
Liquid Silk as they absorb into the skin. Both are a great lubricant choice if you're turned off by sticky/ oily lubes.
WHAT SHOULD YOUR LUBE TASTE LIKE?
Probe is a pretty much taste-free lubricant. Inevitablly silicone-based lube tastes rather oily.
Liquid Silk has a slightly bitter undercurrent. Whilst not recommended as a serious lubricant,
flavoured lube adds a delicious lickability to oral sex; Flavoured lubricant makes your sugar taste sweeter!
